I'm hoping to explore the area of collaborative writing spaces in workplace settings, focusing on the use of wikis to do this. I am particularly interested in the following:
1) what services/benefits/setbacks they provide
2) how they aid in communication practices, or change communication practices
3) how certain things are negotiated - who writes what, when, why
I'm expecting to add to the list after doing a little more research. I think I will be drawing on work from Brian Street, James Gee, The New London Group (for starters) and some of my wiki spaces research from my Web 2.0 presentation.
